HAROLD K. SIROTA
Harold K. Sirota, DO FACOFP, is a board-certified family practitioner, a Fellow of the American College of Family Practice, and the Chairman of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Department of Primary Care. From his initial days until now, he is in charge of coordinating, supervising, and running the most prominent department with four divisions: Physical Diagnosis, Clinical Systems, Early Clinical Experience, and Medical Simulation. Dr. Sirota is also the Chairman of the Students Promotion Committee, responsible for reviewing each medical student and recommending to the Dean whether they should be promoted, remedied, or dismissed. He also serves in different TouroCom committees like Search Committee, Faculty Promotion, Rank & Credential, Faculty Development, and Graduation Community.
He is associated with Catholic Health Services – Valley Stream, NY, which provides Board Certified Family Practice Physician, Physician Advisory Council, BPA Steering Committee, and Mercy Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Sirota has been working in nutrition and wellness for the past 16 years as a distributor for several firms, providing chances for patients, friends, and relatives who desire to achieve health, prosperity, and abundance. He is also linked with Medical Export Testimony which provides expert testimony on various problems based on the experience and Assists attorneys in determining the merits of a case.
Dr. Sirota graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, with a doctor of osteopathic medicine. He completed his rotating family medicine internship and residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, New York, where he eventually worked as a Senior House Officer and staff physician. In addition, Dr. Sirota is a health advocate and a volunteer for several community organizations in the area.
